Association of Arab Universities Participates in the EU Tempus Program’s MIMI Project Training Course | 22/07/2016 | | | Amsterdam
(Holland): As part of the existing cooperation and coordination between the
Association of Arab Universities and the EU in the academic field, the
Association of Arab Universities’ delegation, consisting of the Secretary
General of the Association Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi Al Adwan, Assistant Secretary
General Dr. Mohammad Rafat Mahmoud and the Association’s International
Relations Advisor Dr. Abdullah Zoubi, participated in the training course on
Strategic Planning to Globalize Higher Education in the Arab World, between 20 and
22 July 2016 in the capital of Holland, Amsterdam.
The course included a program to train a number of
faculty working in higher education, at the institutional or ministerial
levels, to qualify them as experts in globalizing higher education in their
countries and the Arab countries. The participants from Jordan included the
Ministry of Higher Education, Princes Sumaya University for Technology, and the
Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission. From Lebanon,
the participants were the Lebanese University and the Modern
University for Business and Science, and from Morocco there were two
universities, along with the University of Barcelona and the European
Association for International Education. | |
