Association of Arab Universities Participates in Workshop on Foreign Education in the Arab World Date of Publication 30 – 3 – 2017

The Association of Arab Universities participated in an academic workshop on Foreign Education in the Arab World organized by the British Council and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Cairo. The workshop was attended by experts and specialists from nine Arab countries. The Secretary General of the Association Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi Al Adwan, representing the Association in the workshop, discussed the status of foreign university branches and distance learning at these universities, the impact of this on scientific research and higher education in the Arab World, and the extent of the success achieved by these universities in the application of these programs. It is noteworthy that the countries participating in this Workshop were Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria, in addition to trainers from Ireland, Canada, Britain and Germany.
