AArU Secretary-General Visits Al-Hadi University as Part of Membership Review

As part of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) procedures for reviewing university membership applications, H.E. Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of AArU, paid a field visit to Al-Hadi University in the Republic of Iraq to gain first-hand insight into its academic and scientific capabilities, infrastructure, and educational and technological facilities.
H.E. Prof. Salama was accompanied by Prof. Mushtaq Talib Salih Al-Nada, President of the University of Anbar, and Prof. Alaa Abdul-Hassan Atiya Hassan Al-Zughaibi, President of the University of Baghdad. The delegation was received by Prof. Abdul-Mohsen Naji Al-Mohsen, President of Al-Hadi University, along with members of the University’s leadership.
The visit included a tour of key academic and scientific facilities, including the College of Dentistry and its teaching clinics, Central Library, specialised laboratories, classrooms, registration facilities, and medical imaging facilities.
The delegation also reviewed the University’s digital transformation and electronic automation systems, including its Student Portal and digital services supporting academic and administrative processes.
The visit reflects AArU’s commitment to direct engagement with Arab universities, understanding their experiences and capabilities, and strengthening academic and institutional cooperation across the Arab higher education sector.
