Association of Arab Universities Launches E-Services Platform for Member Universities

Amman, 27 October 2026
As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening communication and coordination with its member universities, enhancing the services it provides, and facilitating administrative procedures, the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) has launched its E-Services Platform for Member Universities. The platform provides a unified digital gateway through which member universities can access the Association’s services, follow available opportunities and initiatives, and engage more efficiently with the AArU Secretariat.
The launch event opened with remarks by H.E. Professor Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, who highlighted the importance of leveraging digital technologies to enhance services for member universities, streamline procedures, and strengthen communication in response to their evolving needs.
Professor Anas Ratib Al-Soud, Executive Director of AArU, presented the platform, outlining its main features and explaining how it can support the needs of member universities. The event was attended by Mr. Shaheen Hassan Al-Sadiq, Platform Coordinator, and Eng. Rakan Bakr, alongside representatives from numerous Arab member universities.
The platform brings together a range of e-services, including cooperation requests, university job opportunities, university achievements, research groups, conference announcements, fellowships, membership certificates, and university awards. These services provide member universities with a centralised gateway to relevant information, opportunities, and application procedures.
The launch reflects AArU’s continued efforts to modernise its operations, improve access to its services and initiatives, and strengthen communication and coordination between the Secretariat and member institutions. By facilitating information sharing and follow-up, the platform is intended to create further opportunities for academic and research collaboration across the Arab region.
AArU continues to develop its services and initiatives to promote cooperation and integration among Arab universities, support the advancement of higher education and scientific research, and harness digital solutions to improve institutional efficiency and respond more effectively to the needs of its member universities.
