Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities Receives President of Ammon Applied University College

Within the framework of strengthening Arab academic and industrial partnerships, Professor Anas Rateb Al-Saud, Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities, received at the Association’s headquarters Professor Ibrahim Al-Kurdi, President of Ammon Applied University College, along with his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Ms. Lina Al-Bitar, Director of the General Administration at the Association.

The visit took place in the context of exploring prospects for joint cooperation between the Association of Arab Universities and Ammon Applied University College, in a way that contributes to enhancing the College’s presence within the Arab higher education system and opening new avenues for academic and applied collaboration in a number of specialized fields, foremost among them hospitality and tourism.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the potential accession of Ammon Applied University College to membership in the Association of Arab Universities, given the importance of this step in expanding the College’s network of academic relations with member Arab universities and benefiting from the programs and initiatives launched by the Association in the areas of institutional development, accreditation, capacity building, and joint scientific cooperation.

The two parties also discussed a proposal to host the annual conference of hospitality and tourism faculties of member Arab universities in Jordan.
