The Association of Arab Universities Holds Workshop for Ranking Coordinators at Egyptian Universities

The Association of Arab Universities (AArU) held an interactive workshop for ranking coordinators at Egyptian universities, with the participation of 49 Egyptian universities. The workshop aimed to enhance universities’ readiness to participate in the 4th Arab Universities Ranking 2026, while strengthening understanding of the ranking indicators, participation requirements, and data submission procedures.
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Anas Al-Soud, Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities, who presented the assessment indicators adopted for the fourth edition and provided a detailed overview of the ranking platform, including its use and the procedures for submitting data in accordance with the approved criteria and indicators.
The workshop featured extensive engagement from participating ranking coordinators, with discussions addressing assessment indicators, participation requirements, data calculation mechanisms, and the technical and procedural aspects of data submission through the electronic platform.
The workshop forms part of AArU’s ongoing efforts to support Arab universities and strengthen their capacity in university rankings by providing technical and professional guidance to ranking coordinators, clarifying the applicable standards and procedures, and enhancing universities’ readiness and the quality of submitted data.
The strong participation of Egyptian universities also reflects AArU’s commitment to direct engagement with member universities and to providing the necessary support throughout the participation process in the Arab Universities Ranking.
