The Association of Arab Universities Hosts Dinner in Honor of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States

The Association of Arab Universities (AArU) hosted a dinner in honor of H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, on the sidelines of the 58th Ordinary Session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action, hosted by the Association in Amman.

The event brought together heads and directors of Arab specialized organizations, senior officials, academics, and distinguished public figures.

In his remarks, H.E. Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, praised Mr. Aboul Gheit’s distinguished diplomatic and political career and his significant contributions to strengthening joint Arab action, advancing Arab solidarity, and enhancing the Arab world's presence on the regional and international stage.

The ceremony also honored H.E. Ambassador Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, in recognition of his outstanding efforts in promoting coordination and cooperation among Arab institutions and organizations.

The event underscored the strong strategic partnership between the Association of Arab Universities and the League of Arab States, and their shared commitment to advancing Arab cooperation, higher education, scientific research, and sustainable development throughout the Arab region.
