The Association of Arab Universities Presents an Executive Framework to Advance the Vision of “Investing in Arab Human Capital and Technology”

H.E. Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU), visited the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, where he met with H.E. Mr. Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation in higher education, research, and innovation.
During the meeting, H.E. Prof. Salama congratulated H.E. Mr. Fahmy on assuming his new responsibilities and reaffirmed AArU’s commitment to enhancing collaboration with the League of Arab States in support of knowledge, education, and sustainable development across the Arab region.
H.E. Mr. Fahmy highlighted the importance of “Investing in Arab Human Capital and Technology” as a strategic priority for the future, emphasizing the role of education, innovation, and technology in building knowledge-based economies and strengthening Arab capabilities.
In response to this vision, AArU presented an executive framework designed to translate it into practical initiatives that leverage the role of Arab universities in advancing higher education, research, innovation, and the development of future-ready skills.
The meeting reaffirmed the strategic role of Arab universities as key partners in shaping the future, fostering innovation, developing human capital, and contributing to sustainable development across the Arab world.
