As part of its efforts to advance quality assurance and academic accreditation across Arab higher education institutions, Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel-Nasser, Director of the Arab Council for Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the Association of Arab Universities (AArU), visited Sadat City University to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation in quality assurance and accreditation with the university and the AArU Quality Assurance Administrators Association, hosted by Sadat City University.
The visit included discussions on enhancing quality frameworks, exchanging expertise, and supporting initiatives that promote excellence in Arab higher education in alignment with international best practices.
Meetings were also held to review the Arab accreditation standards developed by the Arab Council for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, as part of preparations for launching the new Arab accreditation framework. The initiative aims to enhance institutional performance, strengthen mutual academic recognition, and improve the competitiveness of Arab universities regionally and internationally.
Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel-Nasser emphasized the Council’s commitment to developing a modern Arab accreditation system that combines international standards with the specific needs of Arab universities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and institutional excellence.
This visit reflects AArU’s ongoing efforts, through the Arab Council for Quality Assurance and Accreditation and the Quality Assurance Administrators Association, to build a comprehensive Arab quality ecosystem that supports higher education institutions and contributes to sustainable academic development.
