The Association of Arab Universities Strengthens Cooperation with the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Arab academic integration and expand cooperation among higher education institutions, the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) held a virtual meeting with the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies to explore opportunities for strengthening academic and research partnerships. 

The meeting was chaired by H.E. Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, with the participation of Prof. Anas Ratib Al-Soud, Executive Director of AArU, and Ms. Lina Al-Bitar, Director of General Administration. The Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies was represented by Prof. Ahmed aldawek President of the Academy, along with a number of Academy officials. 

Discussions focused on future areas of cooperation, including the exchange of academic expertise and experiences, collaboration in graduate studies and scientific research, and the development of joint programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and impact of higher education. 

H.E. Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama reaffirmed AArU’s commitment to supporting Arab universities and strengthening cooperation with higher education institutions across the region, highlighting the importance of expanding partnerships with Libyan universities and supporting the advancement of higher education and research in Libya through knowledge exchange and academic collaboration. 

Prof. Ahmed aldawek expressed his appreciation for AArU’s role in supporting Arab higher education institutions and emphasized the importance of further cooperation with the Association and benefiting from its extensive network of Arab universities. 

This meeting reflects AArU’s continued efforts to strengthen collaboration with Arab universities and educational institutions, foster academic partnerships, and support initiatives that contribute to the development of higher education and scientific research across the Arab region.
